The Scrolls of Mountains and Rivers

We developed the media content for the immersive projection-mapping spectacle situated in a tourist destination in Luoyang, China. Drawing inspiration from the renowned Chinese myth 'Classic of Mountains and Seas,' the entire narrative of the experience is steeped in rich cultural lore. In this project, we explored AI-generated content from animation production.

We produced three segments of media content. Firstly, we created outdoor LED media content to provide context for the unfolding story. As visitors transitioned to the cave entrance, they can see the Fog Screen Gate media to envelop them in a mysterious atmosphere. Upon entering the cave, they were treated to an immersive projection-mapping experience integrated with interactive elements.

For the main wall projection-mapping content, we curated four artistic styles: Fantasy, Ink, Rock-color painting, and Abstract art. Each style was chosen to resonate with and authentically represent Chinese aesthetics, creating a visually captivating journey for the audience.
