Epic 3.0 was the latest rendition of the Epic sensation. This time, the show focused on the 20m x 5m hologram; the largest hologram ever produced. We refreshed the hologram content, including a new tour intro visual.
Eric Prydz’s Epic 3.0 show was specially designed for the legendary Madison Square Gardens. As with the previous Epic shows, Immersive had to create 2 sets of tour visuals; one set of visuals for the massive scale LED back wall structure and one for the main focus of the show, the hologram screen. It was crucial that these visuals worked together for maximum impact.
As with all Epics, we followed a futuristic space-like visual style. Epic 3.0 was designed to have a darker edge to it. The intro included a requested scan of Eric’s face to animate to his intro audio. The animations are made to build and grow constantly right up to the high-intensity finale of the intro. In the animations, the 3D holographic pieces spread to the huge back wall LED screens and along the full structure. The animations then travel forward through space and are seemingly powered by the energy of the Hologram in the centre of the stage.
