Immersive created a set of 3 projection mapped animations for Blackberry’s playbook launch.
Immersive wanted to tell a tale of the story of communication with the Blackberry logo being at the heart of innovation. As if the logo is fused from the great history that led to its creation.
We used a woodcut style effect to maximize the shadows and depth effects that are achieved with projection mapping. Also, this original style and method of telling a narrative gave us more freedom to break out of normal project mapping cliches. Thanks to the early inclusion of Immersive in the project by Q.E.D and Smyle we were able to create a quality projection mapping story.
